THE SYNOPSIS. . .

BEING COMPLETELY ORDINARY, LOLA GIMBEL WASN'T QUITE SURE WHAT TO PUT IN HER AUTOBIOGRAPHY. Still, she was determined to write one- a decision that ultimately saved her life. Inspired by her favorite book, The Book Thief, she made it her goal to chronicle her story from beginning to continuation. She worked on it dedicatedly every night hidden in her basement which was, fortunately, up to code.

On April 1st, 2019, the world ended while Lola was writing away, oblivious to the devastation that surrounded her. She couldn't hide forever, though, and eventually her salvation came in the form of an obnoxious, teenaged, time-travelling boy and as they say: the rest was history.
